Founder and Director Travis Browning is a native of Sheridan Arkansas. Travis answered the call to help others at the age of 15 by becoming a cadet Firefighter and later certified. After high school, Travis joined the Arkansas Army National Guard and was deployed to Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom. In the Army, Travis served as an Infantryman and TOW missile operator. Wanting to further help his local community, he began working in Law Enforcement in 2007 where he remains an active Sheriff’s Deputy. Throughout his law enforcement career, Travis has worked in corrections, patrol, criminal investigations, K-9, SWAT, as a Field Training Officer, and instructor. Travis also completed EMT school through UAMS, and works as a part time EMT. As a PTSD survivor, Travis wants to share his message in order to help others.
Deputy Director Keith Pierson has been a law enforcement officer in White County for the past twelve years. As a patrol sergeant, he understands the stresses and struggles that officers face on a daily basis. Keith chooses to combat stress with riding his motorcycle and spending time outdoors. Being an instructor and a supervisor is no easy task, but it’s something that pays dividends, said Keith. He is certain that this organization will save lives and that it will bring the first responder community closer together
Deputy Director Tommy Byers is a Hot Springs native. He joined the volunteer fire service in 2015 and is currently the assistant chief of a volunteer fire department. He began a law enforcement career in 2015 working for the Arkansas Department of Corrections. He currently serves as a full-time patrol deputy, a member of water patrol, and honor guard. His passion for helping others on the job, and off is considered one of his greatest passions.
Following her own experiences in law enforcement and seeing the devastating effects that can present unexpectedly in this field, Alisa has a passion for bringing healing to individuals who have experienced trauma or are currently facing daily struggles that seem impossible to overcome. Alisa strives to help her clients find healthy perceptions of themselves and knows that no single approach is the right one for every individual, and aspires to work with clients to find what works best for them. She studied criminal justice and law enforcement at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, before completing her Masters degree in Clinical Counseling at Bellevue University in 2015. While in college, she spent 5 years in law enforcement before transitioning to pursuing a full time career in counseling. She believes that her experience and education have provided a strong foundation in creating a non-judgmental, comfortable and motivating environment for clients, helping them reach their full potential. She has had the opportunity to gain experience in many areas of counseling with first responders, such as trauma and PTSD, addiction, life transitions and stressors, domestic violence and legal issues. Alisa is a Certified First Responder Counselor and uses Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) to treat a variety of presenting issues related to trauma to help clients find peace in healing and ability to move forward in their lives. She is a Certified Clinician with the National Public Emergency Responder and Safety Center, as well as an approved provider with the National Fraternal Order of Police. Alisa has additional training and certification in technology assisted counseling which allows her to offer services via Telehealth statewide in Arkansas and Missouri. Alisa is also certified as a Force Science Analyst through Force Science Institute and is available for consulting on critical incidents.
Alisa currently lives in Northwest Arkansas with her husband, who is a veteran of the Marine Corps, having served two tours in Afghanistan, and currently a police officer with a local department. They enjoy time off with their German Shepherd, Meeka, and many barn cats on their farm.
Arianna is passionate about mental health and wellness. She comes from a law enforcement family where her father served with the Seattle Police Department for 39 years, retiring last year as a Captain. Her mother was a 9-1-1 dispatcher for the majority of her childhood, and her husband, Collin, is a veteran of the Marine Corps and current law enforcement officer who shares in her devotion to community mental health support.
Arianna completed her undergraduate degree in public relations and digital marketing in 2019, going on to obtain her Master of Science degree in clinical mental health counseling in 2023. She is currently a Licensed Associate Counselor working with adult individuals and couples, is Level-1 Certified in the Family Peace Initiative model, and is working on becoming a Certified Specialist in Anger Management. Additionally, Arianna is the program coordinator for group counseling services at a central Arkansas-based agency where she facilitates domestic violence intervention courses, anger management intensives, theft-prevention workshops, and substance abuse education classes.
